- The Zetaphoremeter IV is a modular zeta-meter designed to tackle all the problems encountered when measuring the electrophoretic mobilities and calculation of the Zeta Potential of colloidal suspensions
- Laser illumination and video interface allows submicronic particle measurement.
- Applications: ceramics, isoelectric point, polymer latex, nanoparticles, emulsions, micro-emulsions, liposomes, water treatment, papermaking, clays, pigments, flotation, biology, immunology.

- The cell consists of two pairs of palladium electrodes fitted into perfectly symmetrical, high quality Suprasil Quartz chambers
- Easy to clean: a kinematics mounting gives easy access to the measuring chamber
- The mounting allows rapid and precise positioning of the cell after cleaning
- Replaceable main electrodes
- Sample temperature is permanently measured in-situ by fast response micro-probe
Image Analysis

- The Zetawin Image Analysis Software computes the exact velocimetric trajectories for each particle appearing on the screen. The real histogram of mobilities can be calculated knowing the electrical field applied.
- The microscopic observation has the enormous advantage that the user can see the particles and therefore visualizes any perturbation within the electrophoretic chamber (convection, sedimentation, contamination...). The technique can be used for tedious routine control.
- Adapted to the Zetaphoremeter III, the equipment stores the images and computes the exact spectrum of mobility while guaranteeing an excellent representativity and reproducibility.
