Platinum Crucibles and Labware

We offer a complete line of platinum or Pt alloy with gold (Pt/Au 5%), rhodium (Pt/Rh 3.5%), platinum/gold/rhodium alloy, etc.

Our products include crucibles, moulds, dishes and accessories such as tongs and electrodes.

With the addition of gold, the Pt/Au alloy acquires beneficial non-wetting characteristics compared with the use of pure platinum. Molten glass will not adhere to the platinum/gold alloy, making it ideal for use with XRF analysis, ICP & ICPMS equipment and allows for many more reproducible assays.
