Splitters with chutes
To accurately divide the initial sample into two representative samples.
The criteria for choosing the right Splitter and Chutes are:
- Chute Width:
- It should be 2.5 to 3 times the topsize of the sample to be split
- For example, to divide a sample with 2mm (10 mesh) particles, you would need a splitter with 6.25mm (1/4'') chutes
- The Hopper / Pan Capacity:
- Based on volume of sample
