All WS Tyler™ analytical test sieves are supplied with a serial number and a matching test sieve certificate stating that they have been manufactured in compliance with ASTM and ISO standards.
In certain cases, it might be necessary to use a Certified Sieve:
- Certified Test Sieves
Openings are measured with a computerized video imaging system.
The sieves are examined to assure that they meet ASTM, ISO and other specifications.
The sieves are serialized and supplied with traceable documents, including statistical information on the actual opening sizes.
- Gold Test Sieves
These sieves are certified and guarantee that the permissible variations as allowed by ASTM specifications are reduced by 50%
These sieves are used as "reference sieves" for internal Quality Assurance programs.
- Reinforcement Back Cloth
For sieves that are very fine, a reinforcement back cloth can be placed beneath the existing cloth to extend its life
Sieve Accessories
To clean analytical sieves without damaging them, use of an Ultrasonic Bath (rather than a brush) is strongly recommended, especially for fine sieves.
For micro sieves and high precision sieves, use of an Ultrasonic Bath is indispensable.
